# System Integrations

Use System Integrations to create API-only identities for automation — CI/CD pipelines, scheduled jobs, and third-party services — that need standing API access without being tied to one employee's account.

Each System Integration is assigned one or more Roles at creation. Every API Key created under that integration inherits its integration's current Roles live, so updating an integration's Roles updates every key under it at once.

{% hint style="info" %}
Managing System Integrations requires the **Integration Admin** role. This is a separate role from **Admin** — see [Roles and Permissions](/admin-guide/user-management/roles-and-permissions.md).
{% endhint %}

## Create an Integration

{% stepper %}
{% step %}

### Open Integrations

From **Administration**, select **Integrations**.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

### Create an integration

Select **Create Integration**, enter a name, and select one or more Roles. Submit the form to create the integration.
{% endstep %}
{% endstepper %}

{% hint style="info" %}
System Integrations are always visible platform-wide (`Global`) — see [Resource Visibility and Assignment](/admin-guide/user-management/resource-visibility-and-assignment.md). You can't scope an integration's visibility to a specific group or user in this release.
{% endhint %}

## Manage an Integration's API Keys

Select **Manage Keys** on an integration to open its API Keys list, then **Create API Key** to add one. Each key shows a read-only summary confirming it inherits the integration's Roles, plus an expiration date of up to one year.

Replica shows the plaintext key once, immediately after creation. Copy it before closing the panel — you won't be able to view it again.

Select **Revoke** to permanently disable a key.

{% hint style="danger" %}
Revoking a key takes effect immediately and cannot be undone. Any application still using that key stops working right away.
{% endhint %}

## Enable and Disable an Integration

Disabling an integration blocks every API Key under it from authenticating, without deleting the integration or its keys. Re-enable it to restore access.

To change an integration's status, select **Disable Integration** or **Enable Integration** in its actions.

{% hint style="warning" %}
Replica does not support deleting a System Integration. Disable it instead — its history stays available for audit.
{% endhint %}

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://docs.replicacyber.com/admin-guide/user-management/system-integrations.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
